Great food

Great local bakery with biscuits, sandwiches and more. Not much from a gluten free perspective though.

Cranberry orange muffin is my choice.This local favorite breakfast/lunch spot is home to the pork pop . A salty savory bite sized creation that is hard to have just one of. Other items worth trying are the dessert bars, Sonny's Delight is chocolate satisfaction!

I’ve been going to Sweet Mama’s for years and years. They will never let you down especially with the pound cake! The service is good and friendly!

Visiting from NYC. Guide at Sea Island told us about the Pork Tots at Sweet Mama. Tried them this morning, and they are heavenly.

Visiting from Atlanta lunch was very tasty....blue berry muffin was very delicious. Will try breakfast on my next visit to St. Simons Island.

I didn’t get everything I ordered and didn’t realize till I got home. They charged me to use my credit card, to use my card is cost of business. I will not be going back. It’s not worth what I paid.

How can you have great food but a rude staff? I'm surprised Sweet Mama's restaurant has not addressed this issue or even responded to the negative reviews. St. Simon's area attracts lots of tourists and annual vacationers!

This place is so good but it is getting to be a victim of its popularity.

We just moved here and I REALLY wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, I agree with the reviews on the rude staff. The restaurant was dirty and the display case was disappointing. We got there at 11am. After the rolling of the eyes from the girl at the front when we said Good Morning to her, we looked at the menu for a few minutes, took inventory of our surroundings, then turned around and walked right back out. As we were leaving, more customers came in and were warmly greeted by someone coming in from the back, offering what she had left of breakfast. Too bad that wasn't us. We're local and would've been repeat customers--with guests most of the time. Hope the young kids behind us left a great review to offset this one. We won't be back. So disappointing...I was really hoping for a great local bakery.

Best quick breakfast in town

Refused service. Store says it closes at 230 we walk in at 150 and they say they stop serving lunch at 2. When we respond its not yet 2 they change it to service stops before 2. When going there in the past, the food is mediocre and the service is often not professional

Awesome cinnamon buns!

I sat back in a comfortable atmosphere and enjoyed one of the Best Chicken Melt sandwiches I've ever had. I watched and listened to the customers and the employees and how they interacted with the customers. Everyone was SO Sweet, Polite, and Nice! I didnt know a sole but it felt like I was sitting at my very own Mommas kitchen eating her home cooking. If your looking for a Good inexpensive place to eat a sandwich, salad, or soup you got try this place!

Stopped here before hitting the road. This place was awesome. We ordered biscuit sandwiches, doughnuts, and nothing really healthy for 8 hours of driving.

Good place but staff were a bit rude

Service is always great. wait for food is a little above average but always worth wailing through. The line will wrap around the building but it moves quickly. My order is always right.

Sweet Mama's has the Best Morning Glory muffins and the biscuits are tasty too. Great place for breakfast and the ladies are always nice and helpful.

Absolutely AMAZING biscuits and pastries!!!! This cheese Danish is delicious beyond words! However, the staff is what makes you want to be there. The ladies of Sweet Mama's are INCREDIBLE! I leave with a smile every single time.

They have the best pork pops ( basically a sausage bite with cheese) and danishes that are to die for but really really sweet. I love the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit as well. I could eat breakfast here daily.

I dont know what it is about this wholw island, but we have had terrible/rude service ever since we got here. All of the staff at every restuarant, including this great local spot, has acted like it is such a burdon to serve 2 people...
